Winter Air Pistol Competition

I would like to thanks all the shooters who able to make to the match this
past Sunday (1/24/2010) we had a total of 9 shooters there were 2 classes scoped and
open sights and the results are as follows.

Scoped Class
1. Mark M. - Shot 29 out of 40
2. John S. - Shot 22 out of 40
3. Rob S. - Shot 15 out of 40
4. Lenny M. -  Shot 6 out of 40

Open Sights Class
1. Tom H. - Shot 22 out of 40
2. Tony N. - Shot 20 out of 40
3. John V. - Shot 12 out of 40
4. Tom W. - Shot 9 out of 40
5. Joe M. - Shot 6 out of 40

The next shoot will be 10 meter air rifle silhouette on January 31 2010
you can use any rifle any sights it would be 40 shots from the offhand
position it would be shot on the attached target scoring would 1 point for a
pellet touching the silhouette and 2 points for a pellet within the
silhouette.

Relays start as follows
9:00AM for 5 shooters This line is full.
10:00AM for 5 shooters This Line has 3 open spots
11:00AM for 5 shooters This Line is open
12:00PM for 5 shooters This Line is open
EYE PROTECTION is required HEARING PROTECTION is Recommended.
also as a reminder the 10-meter shot for Feb, 7  2010 is canceled.

The Air Pistol Shoot will start at 9:45AM to 10:45PM

Relay #2
Air Pistol silhouette Practice 11:00AM to 11:30AM
The Air Pistol Shoot will start at 11:45AM to 12:45PM

10 shots at Chickens at 10 yards (30 feet),
10 shot at Pigs at 12.5 yards (37.5 feet)
10 shots at Turkeys at 15 yards (45 feet),
10 shots at Rams at 18 yards (54 feet)

There will be a scoped class and open sights class
The course of will be as follows
2 banks of 5 of each target shot 1 shot at each in 2 and 1/2 minutes shot
left to right each bank of targets.

Range commands
Ready 30 seconds, fire 2 and 1/2 minutes and cease fire these commands will
the same for Air Pistol
NOTE: all shooting will be done off hand (standing) the only restriction is
the shoot is only open to .177, .20 and .22 caliber pellet only.

the Brookhaven shooting range Long Island Field Target will be setting up
behind the main building.

You can park in front and take the path on either side of the building.
Directions:

Long Island Expressway to exit
68 North (William Floyd Parkway).
Go North approximately 5 miles to Route 25 East ( Middle Country Rd.).
Go East 1 mile and Range is on the left (North) side of Rt.25.
